As Featured in Condé Nast BRIDES

Feb 10, 2015 | Real weddings, Venues

We are thrilled to have one of our summer weddings featured in the March/April issue of Condé Nast BRIDES. Living in Singapore, Dilpa and Ben knew that they needed someone in the UK to help pull all of their ideas together and we couldn’t wait to get started. Their wedding took place at one of my all-time favourite venues, the Larmer Tree, complete with its outdoor Singing Theatre which was the perfect backdrop for their New Orleans style jazz band. They chose to get married in the Lower Indian Room as the colonial style structure reminded them of some of the more traditional houses back in Singapore. Thankfully the weather was kind to them and they were able to have an outdoor ceremony followed by a drinks reception in the vast gardens.

Having visited the sunflower fields in Toulouse shortly before they got engaged, sunflowers featured heavily in the day, from the bouquets, lining the aisle and various walkways to the amazing floral arch and centrepieces. Dilpa and Ben’s ultimate vision was to throw the best party of their lives and they certainly didn’t disappoint – they kept their guests entertained with no less than three live bands, garden games, flair bartenders and a surprise acoustic act by Mark Morriss, former Lead Singer of The Bluetones, Dilpa’s favourite childhood band!

If you would like to see more images captured by their talented photographer Andy Rapkins, be sure to check out their gallery in the Portfolio section of our website here.
